You probably have heard about a relatively new element of the Federal economic recovery plan: Many home buyers may be able to claim an $8,000 credit on their 2009 Federal income taxes. What a terrific opportunity!
If you have not owned a home in the last 3 years, but purchase a home before December 1, 2009, then you may very well qualify for this credit.
